Get involved....
The advisory groups are being formed now. This is:
- To assist with the huge task of rebuilding;
- To bring together people who have volunteered to assist into community groups with common interests;
- To assist in the next steps of the Marysville Urban Planning process which commenced on 3rd May;
- To ensure all sectors of the community are engaged and looking for representation prior to the 13th June MATDG AGM and elections;
- To acknowledge and engage those who have volunteered through VBRRA, MADTG, MOCA and those already involved in community activities aligned with the advisory groups;
- To continue to meet the priorities of providing food, clothing, housing, fencing etc!
If you have already volunteered, you should be contacted shortly. If not, please consider getting involved. In the words of Nigel Bell ""lf you don't know where you're going, you'll probably end up somewhere else". Get involved to ensure your voice is heard.
