- For noting from Lachlan Fraser- Barry Thomas of Video Vision.com.au is making extensive video taping of Marysville's reconstruction, probably intended for internet viewing. He has a video camera that looks like a big camera, with a big fluffy microphone, so please make him feel welcome in providing this valuable service. He captured the official welcome ceremony at the opening of the Marysville temporary village on 17/5 (see MATDG site for viewing). Barry has family connections with Buxton.

To better understand the unique situation of Marysville and the surrounding towns, they have residents to complete the attached short online survey. The data collected will be used to help ensure a planned and strategic recovery process is in place. You can access the survey here

- 1:00 pm, Regional Arts Victoria will hold its Annual General Meeting, the Governor of Victoria, Professor David de Kretser, will be in attendance
- 2:00 pm there will by an address in the Marquee at the Golf Club by Jack Munday, Director of the Billy Graham Rapid Response Team. Jack has had direct experience in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 and Hurricane Katrina.

- Community Debriefing session chaired by Dr Lachlan Fraser to be held Saturday 9th May following Rob Gordon's session at Marysville Golf and Bowls as advertised. Particularly relevant to people who were there on the day. This is a session to fill in information gaps since the timelines of fire times and evacuation are vague for many people. Please bring your police statements

- Reminder for the meeting with Rob Gordon on Saturday 9th May, 10.30 at the Marysville Golf and Bowls Club.Rob Gordon is a clinical psychologist who has been helping communities recover from disasters for over 20 years. He is coming to Marysville to talk about his experience, the process of recovery and to share examples from other events.
- This will be followed by a Community Debriefing session chaired by Dr Lachlan Fraser (approx 12 till 1 pm). Please bring a copy of your statement to the police (can be requested if not provided already) to be assembled as a community record of the day.
