- Marysville Gallipoli "Lone Pine" planting ceremony will commence at 11.00 on Saturday 2nd January at the Marysville cenotaph. This tree is a gift from the Rotarians of Istanbul, Turkey.

- Free Swimming lessons for Marysville and Triangle kids Aquatics and Recreation Victoria's CEO are offering a week of free learn to swim lessons as part of its VICSWIM Summer Kidz program. To enrol in the free lessons speak to the hub captain at the Marysville Community Services Hub or enrolment forms are available at the pool. Program runs: Monday 11 January to Friday 15 January 2010.
