4th January

  • Morganna Magee is representing 11 other professional photographers who will be working on a photography project commissioned by the Murrundindi shire. They have been asked to interview and photograph 40 residents of the shire who are aged 55 and above, who had experiences of the Black Saturday fires. The aim is to create a body of work which will portray a "positive aging" message, as well as allow residents to share their experiences of the fires. They are interested in all experiences, from people who were involved in fighting the fires, to people who helped survivors, and those who are helping rebuild. To be held on Saturday 20th February 2010, the Challenge will see a number of variations to the courses on offer to cater for cyclists of all abilities. An introduction of a newly designed 35km short course with the option to further challenge yourself and add the climb and descent down Lake Mountain is now available. www.vic.cycling.org.au
