- Nick (Nicholas) Martin has commenced with DSE as the Bushfire Recovery Communications Adviser for the north east area. Nick is based at DSE's Marysville office. He will play a leading role in the development and implementation of recovery communication and media plans. - Morganna Magee is representing 11 other professional photographers who will be working on a photography project commissioned by the Murrundindi shire. They have been asked to interview and photograph 40 residents of the shire who are aged 55 and above, who had experiences of the Black Saturday fires. The aim is to create a body of work which will portray a "positive aging" message, as well as allow residents to share their experiences of the fires. They are interested in all experiences, from people who were involved in fighting the fires, to people who helped survivors, and those who are helping rebuild. To be held on Saturday 20th February 2010, the Challenge will see a number of variations to the courses on offer to cater for cyclists of all abilities. - Free Swimming lessons for Marysville and Triangle kids Aquatics and Recreation Victoria's CEO are offering a week of free learn to swim lessons as part of its VICSWIM Summer Kidz program.
