The RSPCA Animal Rememberance Day

The RSPCA are holding a special service to remember the animals lost in the Black Saturday bushfires and to recognise the animal welfare organisations, local community members and volunteers who helped with the rescue and rehabilitation of animals injured in the fires.

The service will take place at the Rochford Winery, corner Maroondah Highway and Hill Road Coldstream, from 11:30am on Sunday 26 April.

The event is completely free of charge to attend.

Residents from bushfire affected communities can contact the RSPCA on 03 9224 2222 to register to attend, and to arrange transport if required.

BYO picnic blankets, chairs and hampers.

Food will also be available to purchase at the event.
