Buxton CFA Invites all Buxton residents to a community forum about the upcoming fire season.
Where: Buxton Community Hall
When: Saturday 3rd October at 2pm
To consult with residents regarding the upcoming fire season.
It is envisaged that items open for discussion will include:
- Bushfire Royal Commissioon recomendations
- Proposed Community Warning System for Buxton
- Buxton CFA's Fire Prevention Plan
- Locations for Neighbourhood Safer Areas
- 2009/10 Fire Season predictions and preparation
- How can you help the CFA and how can we help you.
- Any ideas or questions arising.
This is your chance to have input to these community issues and how you can be informed about CFA operations, fires and other emergencies and how we can all work together to protect our community.
